Short project description

Concentration of radon will be monitored in thermal waters of spas in V4 countries, with the aim to acquire information about their seasonal variations. The effective doses for employees, patients and visitors of spas will be determined. The objective of the joint work is also the elaboration of a common measurement protocol. Results promote harmonization of the national radon action plans and managing of long term risks from radon exposures in V4 countries according to new EC directive.
